THIB

Firstly let’s talk about the name. You must be wondering what kind of a name is THIB well it is perfectly logical THIB stands for ‘THIB Is Not a Blog’, and yes it is recursive and yes it is copy of GNU, and that is about the name

As the name says this is not a blog this is me asking you something.

But first a small story:

It is about me trying to write a blog and failing so miserably that I couldn’t even decide on a topic for it, it was like all the topics were already taken.

I started with trying to write something about philosophy, but then I read the book ‘story of philosophy’ which talks about the lives and works of famous philosophers and I thought “these people have done some serious work there “what good would be my blog compared to the works of these guys and that was the history about my first failed blog idea.

Next I thought about writing about love, (yes I know nothing about it but still I decided to give it a shot), well as soon as the thought came to my mind the thoughts of the great love stories written also came to my mind i.e. Romeo and Juliet, laila majnu etc. the result was the same the Recycle Bin.

Next I thought of writing about my life, this time I was really serious about completing it. All the conditions were in my favor firstly I had a topic to write on, secondly nobody had more knowledge about my life and nobody can write better about me then myself, but then I thought who would read about me, even I don’t want to talk about my life with myself why would anyone else like to read about it and this also went to the black hole of all my ‘BLOGS’- THE Recycle Bin.

And then there was a spur of ideas which came to my mind while driving from office to home everyday, the topics ranged from Bangalore traffic to autorikshaws drivers. Someday the topics would be more social like poverty in India to place of women in our society, the list goes endless with topics such as global warming, India becoming a superpower, women, the eggs (ande) which I eat, things which I want to do before dying (eating haldirams samosas is one of them amongst others), rajma chawal, if I write the complete list here then this would rather be a book.

To cut a long story short I was not able to decide on anything so I thought lets ask the people about the topic on which I should write or well should I even write( there already are millions of blogs on the net who needs another one).
